Trip To New Hampshire

I looked out the window at all the falling snow zooming down the highway on my way to New Hampshire. I was thinking about all the good times we were going to have with my cousins and how good the Thanksgiving dinner was going to be settling in my stomach. I couldn't stop thinking about the food. I could imagine the warm turkey and potato with gravy going down my thoart and tasting oh so good. I thought about how much i loved my family too. I loved being with the m and talking to them because they understood me the most in life and they were just close people that you never forget. I was daydreaming about all this until the car came to a sudden jerk and we were finally at my Aunt and Uncle's house

The car stopped so fast that when I jumped out I fell face first in the snow! We all had our laughs and then we went inside and I gave my Aunt,Uncle and two cousins,Brittany and Nikki huge hugs and even there dog Ozzy too. Everyone had smiles on their faces and I felt so happy to be there because I hadn't seen them in over 2 years. Nikki the oldest sister of my cousins showed me to my room down in there playroom. She helped me unpack and I told her about how school was going and as going and we gossiped for a couple hours. Then I started to relax and get more comfortable around her and we played ping pong so many times I felt like I didn't have hands! Then we decided to change into our bathing suits and go in the hot tub to let our hands relax. I got right in and turned the jets on then we sang loud and had a lot of fun. Their hot tub was in the basement and so was their treadmill. So after a while our voices got weak and we decided to try something else fun. So we got out of the hot tub and we saw our towels sitting there but before we took them we looked at them and then at each other and then at the treadmill. We never ended up taking the towels,we just went on the treadmill and turned it up to the highest level and then run on it. It was a blast. Even though we had a few bruises on our elbows and knees for falling off the end of the old treadmill we still had fun because we were spending time together and that's all that mattered.

sNikki and I were together this year for Thanksgiving. We were at their cozy-country home in New Hampshire. It was the best time of the year with the fluffy snow outside that looked very beautiful. I loved winter and My cousin Nikki. I looked up to her because I was only 10. Nikki was a tall, heavier set girl. She was very quiet with a blank expression on her face most of the time. Her voice was soft and wispy like the wind and I'm the only one that noticed it the most because she talked to me the most. Nikki's curly-long hair was dark and felt like her dog Ozzy'soft dog fur. I also loved her eyelashes.

The next morning I woke up with my brother and helped cook breakfast with my Uncle which was a lot of fun because he likes to act like a chef and he talks with a french accent. Just when we got done making the sensational smelling food the family woke up and ate. Then we all took turn using the 3 bathrooms they had to get ready for the day. After I took my shower and put my hair up I went down stairs by myself. I looked a the pool set my Uncle had and I asked him to help me learn how to play. He taught me how to shoot and were to hit your balls (striped or solid). Also I learned that you can't hit the white ball in with or without your ball or you with have to take your ball out and it doesn't count. An lastly if you hit the black ball in you lose the game and the other player wins. I was glad I got to spend some quality time with my Uncle G.J. because he was just like my dad and I was a daddy's girl! After we were finished playing a fewgames of pool I asked my Uncle if he would play a game of 21 with my dad, (21 is a basketball game). My cousin Nikki and I watched them and we loved it! They were so competitive and it was funny watching them getting into the game like when they started making comments and showing off. It was funny watching them because they were older men!

It was now the fourth day and almost time to leave. I was staring to feel really sad because I didn't want this to to end with my family. Today is was Thanksgiving and we ate so much! The adults were gathered around the table and us kids went in the living room and watched Ice Age 2. It was very hard to get this delicious food my mom made us because we were laughing to the movie. I loved the environment around me. The smell of a home cooked meal,loved ones around and the vanilla scented air freshener in the bathroom. I really did not want to leave tomorrow.

Doing crazy things with my family and friends was the thing I loved doing most. I really wanted to do something with both my cousins that I would never forget. Nikki,Brittany and I were brainstorming of ideas but we wanted to make sure we didn't do anything illegal! After about a half and hour of thinking my cousin Nikki came up with a great idea! She said we should go outside in our tank tops and shorts and go sledding in the snow. It was a thrill and even though we were absolutely freezing from the bitter wind and cool snow it was still worth ever minute of it. It was time with my family that I didn't see often and I loved spending time with them. I loved being with my family and no one could ever change that.

Our moms rushed to us outside as soon as they saw us and got us a lot of blankets,some hot coca and set us by the fire place. So our whole family sat by us and we all talked about adventures things we had done. When Nikki and I felt up to it again we got warmer clothes on and went an played apples to apples, ( a board game) with the whole family. Everyone was laughing and we were all so happy. I loved this day and was not looking forward to tomorrow at all.

Finally it was the last day. I was extremely upset to leave my loving family members but I was ready to go home and sleep on my own bed! We all packed up and I hugged my 2 cousins and Uncle and Aunt and we packed into the car. My Mom, Dad, Sister,Brother and I talked about our time at our relatives house and the memories we made. I will always remember going to my relatives house that winter because I was with my loved ones and I made memories that I will remember forever. I hope I can go back soon,very soon.
